DEEP PURPLE Confirmed For Sweden's ROCKWEEKEND Festival

British hard rock legends DEEP PURPLE have been confirmed for next year's edition of the Rockweekend festival, set to take place July 8-10, 2010 in Kilafors (two hours north of Stockholm),Sweden.

The last time DEEP PURPLE stood on a Swedish festival stage was when they headlined Sweden Rock in 2006.

The 2008 and 2009 editions of Rockweekend have featured performances by such artists as ALICE COOPER, CHICKENFOOT, W.A.S.P., TESTAMENT, HELLOWEEN, and QUEENSRŸCHE, among many others.

More acts for the 2010 edition will be announced at a later date.
